Is Anyone a Christmas Baby
I'm up in the air about ttc this month. If I do get pregnant I would be due dec. 22 according to baby center. I don't know if I should hold off for a month or just see what happens. I always felt that people who birthdays in december were slighted. What does everyone think?

My little sisters (twins) are Christmas babies....and we celebrate their birthday on Christmas day and everyone gives them 2 gifts....1 for b-day and 1 for Christmas. Usually cloths and a toy

i'm a christmas baby and i always wished i wasn't..i was thinking about not ttcing as well this month because of it..but then again, you will be the mom so your baby's birthday will be a special as you make it..my parents didn't have alot of money so swinging a birthday and christmas was hard..

I was born on Dec 22nd...no issues.
ETA: I would TTC, no guarantees that you will get pregnant but if it is meant to be it's meant to be.

I'm also a Christmas Eve baby - I grew up Jewish though and am now married to a Catholic. I also thought it was special, its a bit hectic now that I celebrate Christmas too - but the holidays are always hectic. I think its fun overall!

I'm a Christmas Eve baby and DH is 12/22 - in his world, he would want a child born on 12/23 
I love my b/day and was always treated special (my day was always differentiated from Christmas & Christmas Eve) until I met DH. His family is HUGE on the Christmas Eve dinner and I haven't had a "special" day in 10 years.
Personally, I want a summer baby. I will not be trying for a baby anytime in the next few months

I hate being a holiday baby! Not to mention my lil' bro's birthday is two days after mine. The time of the year is sio busy for everyone that plans are difficult to make and people tend to be involved in other things that they often forget!

Until we had problems TTC it was my preference not to have a December baby. Having fertility tests and going through all that entails really puts things in perspective.

We decided against winter babies (out loud it sounds cruel ). My sister, brother in law and step mother and father in law are all christmas babies. My sister feels slighted sometimes due to it being christmas eve. Holidays are hectic to begin with. It's a personal preference. If you want to do it. i'm sure your child will be treated wonderfully regardless of it being christmas or not. good luck
eta: We ruled out September as well since we have 20 birthdays that month to celebrate as well.

My birthday is Dec 28. I never really felt slighted on gifts. My mom would always say,"your birthday is your birthday and Christmas is christmas". I just feel like I get all these gifts one time a year and I have nothing really to look forward to during the year.

I was thinking the same thing; I really wanted that Nov baby, but that witch AF showed up last week! Anyway, after thinking about it, I would take a baby born ANY month at this point!! Best of luck to you!
Btw, three of my nieces are born near Christmas and I don't think they come up short

I am not Catholic, but I would never put TTC off for any reason except maybe illness.
I would only have a problem with a child born during Passover. Every so often, they would not be able to have a cake because the Hebrew calendar is not always in synch with a standard calendar. After 8+ months of TTC and tissues full of tears, I wouldnt care if I delivered on Yom Kippur that fell on Shabbat and 2/3 doctors in the practice I used are modern Orthodox.

I feel the same way..I would never put TTC off for any reason except maybe illness. And if it did happen on Xmas, I think that would be a blessing sharing a Bday with Jesus...

my birthday is january 2nd and i wouldn't say my birthday gets forgotten...but in elementary school we were always on vacation on my birthday so i never got those birthday cupcakes
