Invite question...

I invited everyone at Bella's daycare, including two kids that are not here in the summer because their mom's are teachers...today I asked her teacher if there would be any newbies in her class since it is after everyone starts the "school year"...there were two and I invited them too.

The teachers were telling me how great and thoughtful it was...I just didn't want any kids to feel like they were left out at all (is that even possible at 2?)

Or am I just over-inviting now? One girl is completely new to the daycare (although the director told me she was SUPER excited when she called for permission to give out her adrdress)

I think that is very sweet. At this age they wont feel left out but maybe it will help other parents see how important this is as the kids get older.

i think it's very sweet of you and i would probably do the same if the party is going to be after school starts..You know how it is when some kids get invited to stuff and other are left out. Also it gives the new kids a chance to make friends and feel like part of the group. Good looking out

I don't think you're over-inviting. It's very thoughtful to include all of them - especially if they're going to be together all year. Great idea.

It's exciting, I never had b-day parties growing up...

I wanted to make sure everyone is included.
