Implantation Bleeding vs Period

I am 7 weeks post partum. We have been BD for about a week or so with hopes of conceiving our 2nd child.

When I went to the bathroom there was some blood. How do I know if it is implantation bleeding or the beginning of my period.

I'm not crampy and I don't feel like its a period...but then again its been 11 months since I had a period.

implantation blood is brownish and if it is bright red spotting it could be AF. However, AF could also start off with brown blood.

I hate to be gross but is it clumpy? And how long does it last?

its light pinkish. not clumpy. very light. almost like a tainted discharge. it was there earlier this afternoon. it hasn't been there since.

I had implantation bleeding 11DPO and I thought I had gotten AF early. I had pinkish blood...... little heavier than spotting for 1.5 days, whenever I wiped...... hope that helped!

I agree...when I had implantation bleeding, it was very light--pinkish brownish and only lasted for half of the day. I thought at first it could be the beginning of my period but it only lasted that one day...so that was my clue.
