I'm so glad we are getting a new oil burner!!
Our oil burner is ancient. We are getting a new one this year to cut back on costs. The guy came to give us a price and saw that the vent from our hot water heater was not connected!!!! that means Carbon Monoxide has been seeping into our house!!!!! OMFG!! I do have CO detectors but just to know that after they installed our new water heater they didnt connect it properly makes me so  but so thankful that the oil burner guy caught it before something awful happened!!!

Thank God he caught it.
We just got a new one 3 weeks ago... we're selling though and will have a 10 year old one in the new house.
It should definitely help this winter. I know ours "runs" for maybe 5 minutes when the old one ran for 15.

Thank God he caught it.

Is it as loud as your old one was? Cause I know mines LOUD!
