I'm no longer a F/T working Mom!!!
... just a P/T working mom from now on! 
These past few weeks, we tossed around a few ideas- i was thinking of extending my leave for a while and thinking about other different options. Before DD came along, i would've sworn that i'd always work FT. I figured i'd take leave and then just go back to business as normal, but its amazing how that all changes and your priorities completely shift once they come along!  I would never just stop working completely, but knew i didn't want the schedule i had before DD. I spoke with my Mgr and they created a p/t position for me!! I still have to go back there F/T for a few weeks, but then i'll be P/T from then on.
AND... the best part is that we get to completely dodge the daycare bullet b/c i'll still be working nights, and only have to work 3 nights out of every 14. So, DH will be with her then, but since it's only a few nights, its also not compromising my time with DH.
After so much debating the last few weeks, we're really happy with how it all turned out!!

That's great!! I also went back PT nights, I do 2 12.5 overnights every 14 days and it's really the perfct situation.

I'm right there with ya. Monday I drop down to PT from 40 to max of 25 per week. BTW, I would totally quit altogether if we could afford it, LOL!

I am so jealous! You are in the perfect field for P/T work. Plus, they must really love you to have created a new position to keep you. That's awesome!
