if you send your child to a parochial school...?

how much do u spend for tuition a yr? Looking to send DD there for kindergarten bc my school district is only 1/2 a day kindergarten ..thanks

I guess it depends on the school you are looking to send her to. DH went to Catholic school and so did everyone in his family, it's like a tradition to them so even though we have a ways to go I looked up the school that we might send our DS to depending on many many factors and they have everything right on the website. This is what it says for our local Catholic school:

1 Child:
Contributing (meaning members of a parish who give the parish $400 a yr) $4200 yr
Non Contributing $4800

Application Fee: $100 (new students)
Registration Fee: $150 (each year)
School Service Commitment Fee (Idk what this is): $400
Scrip: $2000 scrip purchases or $200 cash if not doing scrip
Church Envelopes: $400 yearly
