If you had a VBAC, how long did you have to wait between the 1st & 2nd child?

My dr. told me I had to wait at least a year before getting PG again, but I forgot to ask if this was different if I wanted to try VBAC.

Anyone know if you have to wait longer? My coworker was saying that her sister's doctor told her 4 years.

I was told to wait at least 1 year to be PG again. Regardless of VBAC.

Some people are told 18 months.

It depends on your medical history.

My BFF wants to try for a VBAC, she was told to wait a year, but got pregnant when her DS was 7 months old. She has her first OB/midwife appointment this week, so I will see what they say.

I had a complicated pregnancy and was told to wait at least 18 months.

My OB told me after my first (the c/s), he would like me to have 18 months between births. I got pregnant when #1 was 15 months and had my vbac almost exactly two years later.

I never heard 4 years but I think as a PP said, it might have to do with that specific person's medical history. My OB was all for me having a VBAC and my kids are 22 months apart.
