If you died today…
Would you be happy with what you have done with your life?
Or do you think you need more time?
I can say I have been very happy with what I have done. It was always my dream to travel and live in another country (countries). I feel like I did things in reverse.
Enough navel gazing— would you be happy?

If you died today…
I’d be happy with where I am and what I have accomplished. I am also one to live my life in the moment. We travel a lot. I we want it we get it. We live a good happy life.
I’d be crushed that I’d miss out on so much with my children. But I would imagine that’s the same for every parent.

I would like to see my children grow up and have children of their own so no, I would not feel like my life is complete. I would be happy with everything I have done and experienced so far but not knowing my children as adults would be really disappointing.

I am happy with my life so far and I feel that my biggest accomplishment is without a doubt the beautiful family I've created with my DH. If I died tomorrow I would hate the thought of them growing up without me because I am so excited to see who they grow into as adults. Also, DH and I have so many hopes and dreams for the future, I want to be around to see those through.
I don't think there is ever enough time. The years are moving by so quickly, hopefully there is still a long road ahead and many more experiences to be had.

If you died today…
The thought of not seeing my DD grow up would pain me.
But am I happy with what I’ve done? Yes.
I work hard to develop therapies that have saved people’s lives. That have given them more time to see their grandchildren be born and their children get married. My work has made people’s lives better and I will never not be proud of that.
I’d like to think I’ve contributed to paving the path for girls to have successful careers in science. I have mentored many young women early in their careers. I hope my advice has helped shape their success.
I have a daughter who is kinder than I could ever be. She may not have me by her side every moment but she knows she can do anything.
Should I worry it’ll all be downhill from here?!

I'm happy with what I have done, but I can't with the idea of leaving DS. Not only because I couldn't see him grow up, but also and mainly because of the pain I know he would feel.

I teared up reading this because it's exactly how I feel. I keep myself up at night thinking about stuff like this.

i'm happy with the way i raised my son and the legacy that will leave.
i still feel i need more time. i truly feel that i'm only just starting to bloom, understand myself, and enjoy life.

Same here. I’m happy with my life and the things I’ve accomplished but I don’t want to leave my 2 little ones. I lost my mom as an adult, the pain was unbearable and it’s still painful after all these years, I can’t even imagine what it’d do to my little ones if they lose their mom. Plus there’s still so much to give them, to help them grow being good, decent human beings with good values.
