I think I am spending too much time alone...
ok- so I read some where or heard that when you see a butterfly it's really an angel or a lost loved one
I thought it was nice- so everytime I see a butterfly I think of my Mom
today I went for a run- and I saw at least 3- in all differents spots- so it could have been the same one
so I was really feeling my Mom's pressence
this is where is get weird and I think it's a good thing I am going back to work soon
I wanted Mexican- but my delivery place wasn't answering the phone- so I decided to go to Moe's in Oceanside
they were having a fundraiser tonight- for of all things- the Lukemia and Lymphoma society
and my Mom had Lymphoma
I feel happy- but like I am losing it at the same time

I've never heard that about the butterfly.I have been seeing a ton of them this summer/fall near where i have a memorial buried for my bestfriend who passed away.

I do have a really nice feeling- it's the first time I have really felt something like this since she died

I think we need to have those feelings once in a while.
We lost my MIL about 2 years ago and she never met my daughter.
It's silly but when we went to Sesame Place this summer there were butterflies everywhere. I know it's not like they were all there for us -- but it still made me feel good to see them since it was a special day with the baby. I took some pics of them ... going to try and post one of them...because it's just a special thing to think of.
Don't worry -- it's not that you're spending too much time alone. Sometimes we just need a reminder of those who are watching over us.

I totally understand as I have those feelings too about my father. When I see or experience something that would have brought him joy, I smiled and even well up a lil bit with tears.
I am starting to see a lot of him in my brother - we all are. In fact the other day, imentioned how my Dad used to be very heavy handed with his silverware and make screeching noises on his dinner plate. Of course about 5 minutes later, my brother accidentally did the same thing andI felt Dad with us at the table
It is so normal and natural to feel the presence of a loved one in the beauty of those you love and in the beauty of nature around you. It lets you know their spirit is there forever.

Its just your mom reminding you that she is with you. I always have signs from my dad....and I just love it.

I definitely don't think you're losing it. It sounds like this break is perfect for you. You get to have some peace & feeling your mom's presence. I couldn't think of a better day.

I believe in the same symbols & lately I have been going through some stuff & have been seeing butterflies everywhere. Just yesterday, I was at the brick place picking stones for our house & I was so fustrated. Across my face came this butterfly & it stayed there until I was ready to leave.
When I was growing up, my grandparents use to always be the ones that got me through things. So I know it is their presence!!!

You're not losing it. I've been seeing signs from my Mom all over the place as my wedding gets closer. She's watching over you and letting you know it.

that is very true what you said of butterflies.... the butterfly is also a symbol for the donor network and means a new life... to start again... i hope that makes sence

I believe the same thing! When I was in Florida recently we took a short fishing trip down the Silver River. It was so beautiful and peaceful. This beautiful butterfly kept flying around us, over and over. Finally it just landed on my lap! And it wouldn't leave. It would get up and fly again and then come sit on me again. It was the most awesome feeling in the world.
