oh Boy I am torn on this one. It is his first so I want to do something really special...maybe an engraved watch? I have no idea-hopefully this post will generate some good ones.

Last year Gavin and I made a stepping stone with DS's handprints....very cute....little messy though.
THis year DH just lost his cross so we may buy him a new one and possible have it engraved.....

Thanks! That's from ZALES and I usually hate their stuff  It's cheap though, $55 on sale now, so I'd like to see it in person and if it's really chintzy I'll skip it!

Last year I got DH an apple tree from DD. It was his first fathers day and I wanted it to be really special. We planted it in our backyard and it really bloomed this year. I plan to take pictures every year of the two of them in front of the tree.
This year, I got DH a camo diaper bag from DD. Since he's home with her during the day (I work FT), he's the one taking her to the store, out, etc. Now he can have his own diaper bag, instead of using my Had-to-have red one.

Hey girls here's a little dogtag update I went to Zales and the first one I posted was "meh"  Like I figured, small, light, kinda tacky.
I didn't like any of the other ones on display and was ready to go, but then the saleslady pull one out of the drawer that I really liked!!! Here it is:

OK so this is on sale for $179 and the engraving is $29 (for as much text as you want). It is REALLY solid and thick and is quite nice in person. The diamonds look "ick" in this picture, but they are very nice in person.
So I ordered it, it'll be ready May 11, I'm engraving DS's first and middle names, then his birthdate (11 day turnaround for engraving is long, keep that in mind if you're hoping to get anything engraved!!! Most stores have to send the piece out to do that, and with Mother's Day then Dad's Day I'm sure there will be long wait times!). Perhaps online orders can be processed a bit faster though!!!
