I heard my office is closing down in less than a year.

I work for Verizon. My boss just told me that in less than a year this office will be closed. I will be transfered to another position but who knows what I'll be doing or where I will have to work and travel to. I get transefered where ever there are positions available I guess. I am so nervous and sad.

Well you have a whole year to find something else or nudge yourself into a position that you prefer within Verizon.

Something similar happened to my SIL w/cablevision- I don't think the office closed but she had to transfer. She is actually real close to home now and more $$

My mom told me she heard that one of the offices was closing, and that they were sending the operators to her office...which one do you work in?
