I had the crappiest day at work ever... I am dreading going back tomorrow...ng

Background:

1) I work for hasidim, where any day of the week some girl in the company is either pregnant, nursing or on maternity. We have a line of breastpumps in the bathroom. That was one of the perks of the job-that and the 22 days a year I get off as well as three hour work days on Fridays.

2) One of the a** holes that I work for cornered a 27 year old girl on two seperate occasions and kissed her. He thinks he is holier than thou-he is orthodox and a total dirtbag 65 year old man.

So I am one of the three people that know about what this jerk did to her, and since I found out, I barely speak to him. He has no clue why I am so cold to him, but there is really nothing I can do-he didn't do it to me and she hasn't persued it.

So today, I was doing my work and walked to the other side of the cubicle. He asked my other supervisor what I was working on, and then asked him why I was always such a *itch!
My finding out what he did to the girl that worked there happened to coincide to the exact time frame I found out I was pregnant. So the nicer guy of the two -the one I usually like- tried to make a joke-he has no clue what had happened with the girl, all he knows is I treat him respectfully and I treat the other like dirt... he turns around and contributes it to my pregnancy! Then he says that it must be a pre-req to getting the job, because I fit right in getting pregnant after only 6 months... then he goes on to make a joke saying that they should create a questionaire asking if you are "knocked up", and question two, have you had sex in the last 4 months because you could be and not be showing yet! W T F? He has three kids and he hasn't announced it yet, but his wife is pregnant-he is 31 years old... and this old dirtbag has about 7 or 8 kids. Sorry if some of us choose to work after we have kids, but I think they can deal with me being out 6 weeks... I am coming right back-unless I were to find a nice job in LI for good money... which would be the best scenario after what happened today.

Knowing the nicer guy I work for, it's his dry humor, but I just want to kick the old pervert in the ballz...

OMG They have no respect and the nerve. I say you are strong to listen to what they said and not react. I would have said very loudly-I MAY BE PREGNANT BUT I AM NOT DEAF!

I am going to say something before to the nicer to of the two tomorrow... not sure what, but something...before the old man strolls in at 11. He talks all the time about being such a good father and husband and jewish person, and I am thinking to myself that he doesn't realize adultery is a sin? Using your power to corner a girl 40 years younger?

Aww, I'm sorry Laurie!

You have to try and let this roll off your back. First of all, they're men and prone to saying stupid things. Since the nice guy didn't know what the real reason is, I'm sure he felt compelled to say SOMETHING but couldn't just agree that you're a b*tch and probably has never even seen that side of you to even understand where the dirtbag was coming from. It was stupid, insensitive guy talk!!

On the bright side, the dirtbag will stay away from you since you aren't friendly with him. You know I like to reach for that silver lining...
