I failed my 1 hour glucose.....Questions for those that failied??

I was just wondering if the drink tastes the same as it did for the 1 hour one....
And also did you pass the 3 hour one or did it end up that you had GD?
They said my numbers were high, but not astronomical.

I failed the one hour with my first pregnancy and passed the 3 hour. It is common for that to happen. If I remember the drink tasted the same. I just took my 1 hour and I passed. I was very happy. Bring a book with you. I hated sitting there for 3 hours.

I had the same drink for the three hour.. i failed the three hour and had GD.. i was able to control with my diet. I had to test my blood 4 times a day, once in the morning fasting (which was the most important), then after each meal.

Just watch your carbs the night before test.. eat a nice big salad.

I took the one hour at my MD's office and the drink was warm and orange. FAILED!

I took the 3 hour at Quest Labs and the drink was cold and lemon-lime. PASSED!!!

Lemon lime for the 3 hour all times I took it (I drank it 3 times - there was a screw up once). More sugary. Most times, it went down fine. Once it was tougher but it was warm so guess that was why.

1st pregnancy - 1 hr I failed and scored in the 170's and failed 3 hour - had GD.

2nd pregnancy - 1 hr I failed and scored in the 140's and passed the 3 hour - no GD!! woohoo!!!

I failed my one hour,but passed my 3 hour. I had orange the first time,but I didn't like it,so I picked lemon-lime the next,it was better-for me,ask what flavors they have,the 3 hour drink didnt taste any stronger to me.
