I can't believe we made it almost SIX years with kids without a trip to the ER...
But, unfortunately, last night, we had to break our seal! 
Yaya had a cough yesterday - no fever though so I sent her to school. She was a little "off" they said, but then went down for a nap around 1pm. When she woke up, she was raspy, wouldn't get up and had labored breathing. It was so bad I could hear it through the phone when they called.
Of COURSE, the ONLY day that our pediatrician closes at 4:30 is Mondays  I didn't want to risk going through the night worrying like a madwoman, so we took her straight to the hospital.
Thankfully all is good! Chest xray was clear, lungs are clear, and oxygen levels are A-OK. Just a bad respiratory virus.
Oh well... guess the seal is officially broken. I hope I can seal it back up for a few more years

And bear-bear in hand... she weirdly enjoys poking holes in his ear and nose, with her finger
