I burnt my neck with the curling iron this morning!!!!
I finally found my curling iron after moving months ago and I decided to do big barrel curls in my hair today. Well, I must have been out of practice becuase I now have a burn on my neck that looks like a hickey. Is there ANYTHING that I can do to get rid of the redness? Thank goodness my hair is long and hids most of it!

Ouch!
Get some silvadene cream (it's prescription only though I think). It helps with all kinds of burns

Yikes! I did that minutes before going to a wedding a few months ago. I just wanted to fix one curl... It really hurt!!!!!
I just left it alone and it was fine after a few days. I've used the silver cream for other things and it's great.
ouch!

Try some vitamin E on it too...will help it heal without a scar.

Ugh, I can symphatize. In HS, I tried curling my hair before school, and burnt my FACE in several places. Don't know what the heck I was doing! 
I'm afraid to go near one now!!
Definitely try some aloe to help soothe it.

HA!!! You KNOW R. gave you a hickey last night after that CRAZY nookie in your new beemer!!!
Seriously though, how big is it??? Thinking back to HS - how about brushing it out with a comb?
Wear your hair down, maybe? Where on your neck is it???

Ouch.
I did this the other morning...except I dropped the curling iron and it still had my hair in it..so the iron dangled and burned my shoulder.
No fun, and ugly.
Use some neosporin...hope it heals quickly

Ouch, I did that on my pregnant belly a few months ago with an iron (I didnt realize how far it came out) and still have a scar from it
