I am getting so nervous about Christmas...
It is his 1st Christmas and I want everything to go perfect.
I know he won't remember anything but he will never get his first back. I am a wreck.
I feel so much pressure. I can't even concentrate at work

Aww...there will be many more firsts along the way! DH and I are really excited too, like you said even though he wont have a clue it's so much fun for us (and both our families too!). I totally feel like a little kid again! Try not to stress out over it in the end you just want to have fun and enjoy your little one!!!

I kind of agree. You say, "He'll never get his first back." I think what you're saying is that *you'll* never get his first back.
It's too much pressure! Do you remember your first Christmas? Do you care? You know something...I didn't take Katherine to see Santa last year or this year...I figure she has no idea what's going on, so what's the big deal?
You'll have fun no matter what, trust me!!

Don't put too much pressure on yourself or something will be bound to go wrong!
I've learned that from holidays.....you can't expect them to go perfectly with babies and toddlers. Things happen - kids get sick, cranky or just pissy and you have to learn to go with the flow - I've had high expectations from holidays in the past and things always went wrong!
So I've learned to just enjoy it for what it is and not get too hyped up about it.
Enjoy your first christmas with your son!!

You're putting way too much pressure on yourself. Honestly.....it probably won't be "perfect" no matter what you do. Life is never perfect. Just relax and ENJOY the day. I'm hoping you can look back at his "1st" and remember having had a wonderful and fun holiday.....not remembering how stressed you were about it.
