Re: Hows everyone doing today?

I'm on day 11 past ovulation. I took a test today but no luck.
Just torturing myself!

We started trying last May but I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks in July. So technically since then I've only been trying like 3 months since being cleared to try again. February 12th was my due date and I'm getting really sad because I was hoping to be preggo again by then! I got Similac samples in the mail last week so all the reminders are there! Ugh! Sorry for the tangent lol

This will be 3 for us too.

I have a dd and a ds.

This will be it for us too. If we were younger I would have liked to have had 4, plus it seems to take a year or so to get pregnant so 4 won't happen.

Hows everyone doing today?

Well I ovulated 3 days early. I caught it at the last moment so..... I'm not sure if we missed the boat or not. Just very frustrated with my body.

We have two DC and this will be #3 and the last. I'm pretty bummed about it. I would love to have 4 or 5 but on 1 salary & living on LI, it's just not possible.

This will be month # 8 for us. I've had my blood work done, and had my tubed checked for blockage. I don't have the result of the blood work but the de said my tubes were open. So once again...very frustrated.

Ugh so frustrating. Did they test for any type of bacterial infection? I know sometimes it can go undetected because of lack of symptoms. But you probably already covered that

Re: Hows everyone doing today?

Yes! I actually had a low grade yeast infection so they put me on a high dose of anti biotics. Fingers crossed that that was what was holding us back. My dr also wants DH to get a sperm analysis but we would have to pay out of pocket. We need a month or 2 to save for that.

Re: Hows everyone doing today?

I am on CD 8.

This will be our 3rd and most likely last. I have 2 boys (3.5 and 1.5).

This is our 3rd month trying. I am on the fence if I dont get pregnant this month to wait a couple months so the babies birthday wont be right in the winter months. I know it is a little stupid but my 2 boys have had such colds this year that if i had a newborn I would be so worried. I got pregnant the 1st month with my boys so I was assuming it would happen this time and i would get an august baby. I probably will be saying something totally different if i dont get pregnant this month.

Absolutely that's probably why! I keep getting BV so I think that's why I haven't gotten pregnant yet. Very frustrating.

Hows everyone doing today?

I am on CD 3, starting our 4th month trying for baby #2. We have a DD who is 2.5 years. Starting to get worried because we had no problem getting pregnant the first time. I know 3 months is not a long time but still can't help and overthink things. Anyway, is it too early to schedule an appt to have my tubes checked just in case?

This could be me too. We got DD on the first try and I'm about to head into month 4 as well. But for me I know why I haven't had much luck (the infections) but I did wonder about the tubes too. How old are you? My doctor said if under 35, get checked after a year, if older then 6 months but I would just go now!

Re: Hows everyone doing today?

We have been TTC #2 for 8 months. We have one daughter (2.5) and I conceived on 4th cycle of trying with her.

I have always wanted 2 kids close in age and I have been ready to TTC since DD was less than a year old. DH wasn't having it and it was a huge strain on our relationship for over a year. He finally gave in over the summer and we're still not pregnant. I mentioned it to my midwife at my annual appt. and also told her I have had really heavy and painful periods for the last 6 months or so. The Dr. in the office did a sono and said I have a small cyst on left ovary (they didn't seem concerned with it) and the lining is normal thickness if I was about to get my period. I was mid-cycle, not that close to my period so now she wants me to come in next month right after my period ends to make sure the lining has thinned. I want a baby soooo badly and everyone around me seems to be pregnant and having multiple kids. This girl I know is on baby #4 with baby daddy #3 and it just makes me sad. I know 8 months isn't that long compared to other people's journeys but it's still hard to go through.

Good luck to everyone! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Where are you in your cycle?

Unsure...possibly around the 10th. Hard to say because my "normal" period just returned.

How long have you been trying?

Not really trying too seriously right now. Miscarried in December and I just got my "normal" period. Hubby got a varicocelectomy 2 weeks ago for his issues. Now we are just sorting things out and trying to figure out when we will be getting serious again. But we might as well have some fun over the next few months and you never know Chat Icon

Do you have any children yet?

2 DSs - Christopher and Lucas

How many children do you want?

This will be #3.

Hmm...I am turning 32 in March. Maybe if this month doesn't work out, I will try to schedule an appointment. I had my IUD (Mirena) taken out in September but we didn't try until Nov.

Sorry you are going through this. We had a similar situation except it was my husband who has been wanting baby #2 for some time. I was not ready yet, but now I am questioning if we should have started sooner :( . My parents had trouble conceiving my sister and we are therefore 6.5 years apart - I always wished we were closer in age. I think 3-4 years difference between siblings in still pretty close though and hopefully we get pregnant soon Chat Icon
