how to get rid of crickets in the basement?
seriously in the last few days i have seen at least 5 crickets in the basement. help!!! nothing that i have sprayed has helped!

Home Depot sells a spray (with a hose and a sprayer attached). You have to spray all around the outside and inside perimeter of your house. It helps.
Also...glue traps... It doesn't (immediately) kill them, but it does cut down on the ones that will jump around freely in your basement.

my hubby bought some stuff online, I don't know the name off hand, I will have to ask him, but it did work for us. We also used glue-traps, which was gross at times. When he comes home I will FM you the info.

alot of the time crickets in the basement is due to dampness...do you have a dehumidifier? if you do and it has a setting, set it to make it as dry as possible.

It's that time of year again 
We have Cricket & Spider glue traps that we got at Ace Hardware and they do a pretty good job.

lol, yea i can send my cat over. she'll have them all gone and eaten in about 5 minutes (expect for the legs - she usually leaves those as presents for us  ). it's so funny because during cricket season, DH and i never see her since she spends all her time in a corner by the fireplace waiting for crickets to kill.

Ok spoke to him and he gave me this info:

These are two products that worked great for us.
Nolo Bait – Cricket Pathogen
Niban – Boric acid coated with a special protein that attracts crickets
