How much do you spend on school birthday party gifts?
Just curious as we're entering the phase of tons of pre-school/dancing school/etc birthday parties.

How much do you spend on school birthday party gifts?
My twins just went to a party for a preschool friend and I spent $15-$20 for each kid to bring a gift.

I try to stick to about $25 for close friends I spend closer to $40

Schoolmates I spend $35-40 if both my twins are going

$40-50 for 2 kids going (my kids are close in age).
$20-25 for single kid.

Thanks for posting this, DD was just invited to 2 bday parties from her daycare class and I was wondering how much to spend since I dont know them or the families all that well.

Anywhere from $20 - $30. I like to ask the mom what they're into if I can. If it's something they want and it's $20 then I get it bc I know the bday child will be happy and that's really what counts. If it's closer to $30 then that's fine too.
For closer friends I do $30 - $40. Again, depending on what they want, need or are into.

$20-$25. After the 1st bday I always tend to do cash or gift cards as you can never go wrong with either and most kids have way too many toys, I know my dd does.

$15-20, or a gift from my "gift closet" which is something i got at the Target toy clearance and is valued around $20 or a re-gift valued around $20
