How many times a day do you wash your face?
I know you're not supposed to wash your face that often, because it will promt your skin to create more oil, but how many times do you wash it?
Over the weekend I invested $72 in the ProActive system to finally try to get my skin under control. The pamplet says to only wash your face 2 times a day.. here's my issue..
I wash my face in the morning, then after work before the gym, then after the gym in the shower, then sometimes before bed if there's a big gap between that and bedtime. That's 4 times... which washes am I supposed to cut out?

2x.
once in the morning with a face wash prescribed by my dermatologist. Then at night with Plexion cloths (also prescribed)

twice a day: morning and night
if i go to the gym, thats a 3rd time
If I were you, I'd cut out the waash after work before the gym and then the sometimes before bed. Maybe use a gentle soap like Cetaphil for your face after the gym, so you're only using the proactiv 2x a day. More than that might really dry your skin.

Only twice a day...If i need to freshen up after the gym, I just run my face under water & use no products.

2 times.
Once in the morning and once at night in the shower (Im a night bather).
If you want to cut out 2, I would cut out the wash before the gym and the wash right before bed (if you're showering at night). If you want to cut out 1, I would cut out the wash right before the gym.

I would cut out your before gym and night wash. Wash your face after gym and leave it at that.

I will sometimes wash my face in the am with just water, no soap. can you do that? technically, your face is still clean in the am.

i use st. ive's apricot scrub in the morning, no soap, and i wash my face with either cetaphil or regular antibacterial hand soap at night.
if i wash it more than that, i get dry patches on my face (i think i have combo skin, not really sure).
my skin can get very oily but i just use a translucent face powder over my tinted moisturizer in the morning and i am good all day!

2 times. I go to the gym in the morning, so I will just wash my face with water before the gym and put some moisturizer on. When I get back from the gym I will wash my face in the shower, and then again at night.

just once before bed - with Pond's cream and a washcloth.
once in a while i will use a face wash in the shower in the morning, but that's maybe once a week.. otherwise just throw water on my face while showering

twice a day.
if I run or go to the gym, I could the after gym wash as my second.
you could simply rinse the sweat off your skin with warm water and omit the soap on a couple of your washes.

i wash my face 2ce a day. once in the morning and once before bed/makeup removal.
i go to the gym too but i dont wash my face before or after.
perhaps you can just remove makeup before them gym instead of full out washing. then just wet your face when you get home and take a shower, apply lotion and then wash your face before bed
