I have 4. DD is 5, DS is 3, and twin boys are 8 months. I think we're done! 4 is tough and they are all so young so it's a lot of work right now. Plus I am almost 38 and DH is over 40. We're tired! Lol. But if we had another one, fine. It's God's plan, not mine. We would manage somehow!

I don't know why but being a mother is too hard for me, I couldn't imagine having another one.
Grateful for my girl though
This is exactly how I feel.
It was either 0 or 1 for me and now that I have 1, I can not imagine doing it again. I'd be in a mental hospital.

I really admire you guys for saying this...
I think a lot of women wouldn't come out and say that because they would feel "guilty", for lack of a better term, not being that gushing-happy all of the time - mom with it all together who can handle anything and a litter of kids. KWIM?
I think you being candid and honest about how it IS difficult and how one can be enough for you and that's OK is important to mention so that other people who feel that way don't have to feel bad for feeling that way.
I actually want three kids total, I came from three so I want three as well -- so it's not even like I appreciate you writing it because I can personally relate. It's more that I just think society shames women for not embracing all things motherhood as roses and confetti all the time.

I am one and done too. My is 7 now. I just never got the urge to have another one. Fortunately she loves being an only child.

2 girls 2 & 4. We are on the fence about going for #3. I wouldn't want anymore than 4 years between my youngest and a new baby so the clock is ticking.

My DS will be three next week, DD us 19 months and DS is 4 months. I told the doctor before my 3rd I wanted my tubes tied instead they took them out. If I was younger and richer I would have had more but 3 is enough for us,we are DONE!!!

I have a 4 year old DS and a 1 year old DD.
I have stated before that if I could stay home and we could afford it we would have one more. But that reality will never happen with us living in NY/LI.
