How long till your feet were back to normal?
I went the entire summer without swollen ankles/feet, and then went back to work at 35 weeks since I'm a teacher and they swelled right up.
I'm delivering by c-section tomorrow and went yesterday to try to get a new pair of sneakers for my coming home day. I've been wearing flip flops because of the swelling, but really wanted sneakers to come home in. I couldn't even get my foot in the shoes! It was horribly painful to try to get them in there, and yesterday wasnt' even a badly swollen day!!
How long did it take after the pregnancy for your swollen feet to get back to normal? I'd like to go shopping for new shoes sometime soon!

Your ankles will swell even more right after you give birth - I am three weeks pp and my ankles are pretty normal.

I blew up like a balloon the day after Jack was born from all the IV fluids. I never had major swelling before his birth. I'd say it went away within the week.

After delivering my son by c-section, my feet swelled up so much...it scared me. They told me at the hospital that it was normal and within a couple of days, they were back to normal.
I wish someone told me that before it happened to me.

It took me two weeks for my feet to go back to normal. I also had a c-section. I came home with flip flops on...there was NO way I was getting my sausage feet into sneakers!

This is true. I went up about a quarter of a size so 7.5s are too small and 8's are too big

Within 2 weeks my feet were back to normal and they were HUGE I mean HUGE when I was pregnant!

my ankles and feet were swollen for a few weeks after I gave birth but they remained a 1/2 size bigger then before for some reason I use to be an 8 1/2 and now I am 9 and I don't know why but I hear this from alot of woman

I've had swollen feet throughout my pregnancy...I wish I weren't reading these responses that they're only going to get worse!!!!!!!!!!!!

i don't remember exactly...but it happened pretty quickly. it was less than 2 weeks and I would stare at my feet amazed how skinny they were

The same thing happened to me. I actually had no swelling of the feet during pregnancy but post partum they were very swollen which I was told by my midwives is normal. Now at 9 days post partum they seem to be back to normal so it's hard to say if the same will happen to you or not.
