How long does it take to get rid of this pouch after giving birth?
How long did it take to look normal again? do you ever go back? how do ppl like jessica alba and kate hudson look so fabulous so quickly?

I hope not to long!! My belly went down pretty quickly, but I'm still left with a 4 month PG mushy belly. I can't wait to start working out again.

Honestly.. mine was gone within a week, but I still have a piece of skin that sorta hangs above my csection scar

I had it before after a huge weight loss so I look the same. Im getting a tummy tuck after baby #2 - whenever that happens.

Mine has gone down alot after almost 3 weeks, but there is definitely a mushy pouch there! I have not been eating much, though bc I have a very cranky baby who only likes to be held, so I don't have much time to eat. Also, breastfeeding helps-- you burn 500 calories a day doing it. I also started power walking last week, and if I have DH or my mom over, I do this every night. When I hit 6 weeks, I will go to a personal trainer and begin working out hardcore.

celebs get a tummy tuck when they deliver or they weigh 90- lbs pre pregnancy, gain 20 lbs, and then have a really good trainer who makes them work out 8 hours a day for many weeks/months.

I don't think all celebrity's get tummy tucks. Alot of them are in excellent shape before getting PG. Your body bounces back alot easier if you where in shape before hand. They also can afford the best trainers.

my belly went down significantly 1 week pp. Now almost 5 weeks pp, it is almost back to pre-pregnancy look. I do need to do some sit ups to tone it, the skin isn't what it used to be 
ETA: I am with Leslie.. I already told DH that if I need it, I will get a tummy tuck and a breast lift after we are done with having children

I'd say around 4 months PP I got rid of the bloated pouch look. I had to watch carbs and start cardio. It's still mushy though  I need to increase the cardio big time before bathing suit season.

ugh really? when did you guys give birth? I was worried about that spot right above the scar. It's still puffy...and my belly looks 4 months pg. I am 5 weeks pp, 2nd baby but I delivered my son naturally and everything went back right away.

My son is almost 11 months and I still have a little pouch.... it feels like dead flab to me, like it will never get tight again, I'm back to my pre pregnancy weight and that pouch still wants to hang out--lol

I have the little skin flap..but it's not bad at all. My son is 5 months old now and I need to lose at least 6 more pounds. I need to increase my cardio and as soon as the warmer weather is here, I will be out pushing that baby stroller...losing the rest of the weight!

I just did that!!! (Tummy Tuck after baby #2 that is)
I lost all pregnancy weight both times, but my stomach muscles were totally split apart and I had a hernia. The Doctor removed 4-5 pounds of just skin from my stomach. I'm still swollen and healing, but it is definately one of the best things that I have ever done for myself.
