How long are late payments supposed to stay on your credit history?
I was just looking at mine and there are somethings from 11 years ago (when I was in college!)

That's what I thought too! But it's on there
The credit reporting companies do not necessarily automatically remove stuff. You want it off, you have to write to them and tell them to take it off.

Only 7 years. I suggest writing to the credit reporting agencies and asking them to remove the info...it's obsolete now.
