how is everyone dealing with this hot weather
I cant believe that the temperatures reached 95 degrees today making it feel like 105. i have my ac on now and enjoying it! how is everyone dealing with this heat?

Hiding in the house!!!
School was very hot yesterday.. today they fixed the AC but tomorrow I have to proctor my finals in the cafeteria which isn't air conditioned!!! It is going to be BOILING!!!!

yea i know i work in a caferteria and in the kitchen there is no air condition i almost passed out i got very dizzy from the heat i feel like telling my boss bye i am going home. i brought my spaybottlew/fan today and i asked everyone if they wanted to be spritzed.

you are lucky-i work in an elementary school and my classroom is righ ton the blacktop. It is a SAUNA in my room!!!

I am actually loving the heat!! It feels good. My DH on the other hand it hating it. He is really suffering, which makes me suffer. He won't even leave the house. I am trying to get him to take a ride down to Long Beach tonight for a nice walk on the beach. It should be cooler once the sun is down. He's such a baby!!

jaime- you must be forgetting those hot days in the East Meadow classroom!!! my goodness girl- loving the heat?? it is cooler in LB right now so your walk should be nice...

It was in the mid 90's in FL. I stayed in the office all day and the a/c was freezing. I had my sweater on all day

I remember that wicked heat!! Sorry!! I guess it was a good thing after all leaving that place.

Today was flag day...grades k-5 were outside for about an hour and a half! My kids were dying. I sprayed them with the water bottle, but then I ran out of water. Then we went back to our room (which is right above the kitchen) and it was even hotter!!!!!!!! In a nutshell, not very well!
