How far into your pregnancy were you....
when you bought your first baby items?
I always thought that once I got a BFP I would start bringing home baby items (I seriously love to shop). But, to my surprise, I haven't bought anything. I'm only 9 weeks, and I have my eyes on lots of things to get...but Im hesitant to buy anything now!
When did you ladies start shopping?

We were team green for my daughter so we were registered by 17 weeks, and had already purchased little things like Bibs and little onesies way before then.
I am 14 weeks now and it is DRIVING ME INSANE that I haven't bought anything yet for this baby. I went to BRU today just to look, and wanted to buy so much!
But we need a lot less for baby #2 so I need to be strong and refrain!
If you think about it, it does make sense to start buying early. THis way you can spread out the spending of your money!

Our first purchase was at 31 weeks!!  I can't believe I held off that long

I bought a few items here and there, such as booties, T-shirts while on vacation I would like to buy more but my family keeps telling me NOT to since my shower should be coming up very soon. I would have to say the first thing i bought was when I was about 10-12 weeks

I didn't buy anything until I was 32 weeks. I was a nervous nelly. I registered around 22 weeks or so but, I didn't actually spend my money on anything until later on.

I'm 12 weeks and I haven't bought a thing but I'm DYING TO. I always wander in the baby section and wish I could buy things but I am waiting till we find out the sex.
but if I find a beautiful diaper bag at a good price, I'm getting it!

about 17 weeks we bought a blanket while we were on vacation -- I didn't buy an outfit until 20 weeks. I've been good though -- those are the only things I've purchased!

I bought bibs when we found out the sex at 19 weeks that say "Daddy's Girl". I bought nothing else and thank goodness because I got SO many clothes at my shower that there is no way she will be able to wear everything.

honestly, I am 26 weeks and havent bought anything yet! My family, friends and DH have but I havent. We registered last week and I feel like that was too much for me to handle as well. Its now that I dont want to or that Im not ready, I am just so cautious bc of my past MC's. I know those were so early on but I am still nervous.

With the boys, I slowly started buying things around 12 weeks. This time, I want to wait a little longer bc I am still nervous. We were with the boys and will be with this one.

After we found out we were having a boy we went right to the store and bought his first little outfit. After the shower I started buying more things because I didn't want to over buy anything in particular.

We registerd at 20 weeks with  . I had gotten a few things as gifts that Christmas when I was 18 weeks.
For this baby (I'm 10 weeks), I haven't bought anything yet, although I've bought DD some Big Sister stuff for when we tell her (probably at 13 weeks). I'll wait to buy for baby until I know the sex since we have tons of girl stuff that was worn once or even has tags on it left from DD.

At 12 weeks I've mostly resisted. I did get a vera bradley diaper bag when they were having that amazing sale a few weeks ago but that's it. My mom on the other hand...she brought over a gown, 3 sleepers, and a teddy bear the day after I told her at 5.5 weeks.

With my DS I didn't register or buy anything until after my 20 week appointment.
With this pregnancy, I started buying things after my 12 week appointment.

i havent bought anything yet at 19.5w. ive put a million things in my cart at zulily.com though! my dh has bought tons of stuff already. im sure ill crack and pick up some things soon. we found out last week we are team so i can't hold off on resisting the cuteness for much longer! haha

I started an online registry at 17/18wks and now that I had a normal/healthy anatomy scan, we will go to the store and really put together our registry!
At 19wks I bought an adorable fleece from Old Navy. That was my first actual baby purchase. They were having a sale plus coupon.
