How do you contain multiple kids at the beach?

we only had one DC the past couple of summers, but we would bring a small blow up baby pool, this way we arent always having to go in the ocean. We put it right next to the blanket so DS could alternate playing with the sand and going in the pool. Did it the past 2 yrs and worked out great...people at the beach aways commented (positively) on it

Sand castles, buckets, shovels, strait jackets.
We still draw a line in the sand & tell them they cannot go past it or they have to sit out on a blanket.

We do the same thing and it works really well...We also have a tent that they like to go in as well

I can't, not alone. I have 2...But two crazies!!!!!! I will only go to the bay or the sound with them, can't do the waves. If I have my Mom or DH, then I can do the Ocean.
I have a very hard time. Brody is almost 2 and is alllll over the place, and Ava- almost 6 wants to swim or take off with other kids.
