How do you clean babies toys?

The ones that will go in their mouths? Can I use clorox wipes to spot clean, or is soap and water best?

Also when you sanitize the bottles, toys and pacifiers before the babies come, when do you do this (a month before, etc.) and what do you do with the stuff until they come? I would like to be prepared as early as possible since I'm having twins and don't know when they will come. Can I sanitize the stuff and put them in bags or in a cabinet in the kitchen (bottle/pacifiers)????

I wash everything with non-toxic baby soap and then sanitize it. The plush items I wash in the machine with All free & clear.
