How bad is 1 can of diet Pepsi?
I used to drink coffee & diet Pepsi like they were going out of style. I haven't had either since BFP. Today I was just dying for one can of soda.
DH got so mad & said I'm giving our baby chemicals. Now I feel bad. One soda in a blue moon is OK right?

My OB told me to have 1 cup of coffe a day if I was used to drinking it. And I have had about 4 cans of diet coke since BFP

1 can of diet soda isn't bad at all. It's not like you have a direct line of the stuff hooked up to your veins or anything.

My doctor said I can have up to 300mg of caffeine and 2 diet sodas a day. Enjoy!

I drink 1 cup of coffee a day in the morning. If I don't have it in the morning, I'll drink a diet pepsi sometime during the day.

I assure you and your DH that nothing will happen to your baby after one can of diet anything. If you were taking it through an IV, THEN I'd be worried.

I used to have it occasionally with my other pregnancies and everything was fine. This time I decided to cut out diet drinks. Well, the other day I wanted one soooo bad and my DH wouldn't let me! I think i'll just sneak one tomorrow

I drank diet coke a lot with DD and we had no issues. With this pregnancy, I ve had one with lunch every day and the occasional cup of coffee in the morning.

I drink Splenda every day in my coffee, in my iced tea, etc.
I drink diet soda and crystal light occasionally too.
Trust me- one can of ANYTHING- unless it's a can of rat poision- is not going to hurt you.
Even a can of beer - one time- wouldn't do any harm.

1 can is def ok. I was told I could have a cup of coffee every morning, which I do have a half cup.

I agree with everyone I think in moderation its perfectly fine.
I drink caffeine free soda a few times a week. I was THRILLED when I found Dr Pepper caffeine free! On a more rare occasion if I have a migraine I'll drink regular diet soda because it usually helps.
