Is it Once Upon A Time In Hollywood? He told me I should watch it. He didn’t tell me the details but said it was good.

No, that is a movie. This is a limited series on Netflix called, "Hollywood".

i half-listened while knitting, the other night. some of the dialog was very interesting.
i think i'm going to give it my full attention, this weekend.

Only 2 episodes in and liking it. Seems like it's taking a big turn, but enjoying it so far. Love those old Hollywood type movies. Clothing, the way they talked, etc.

Hollywood on Netflix
It was fun to watch but it was kinda weird about how everything was so great at the end (the Oscars - I don't want to give away spoilers). It's like there was no "grit" to the movie - just sailing along and everything working out perfectly for everyone.
