Holiday gifts for daycare
DD goes to an in-home certified day care. The owner has two other locations (one at the house behind her and one down the block)
Some of the girls switch between locations depending on how many kids are at each location. So it's hard to keep track of who is at DD's location regularly. Especially since some have come and gone while I'm at work.
I'm going to get the owner her own gift.
Should I get a basket of something for them to leave out for the other girls, or ask the owner for a list of the girls that just work at DD's location??

Re: Holiday gifts for daycare
I was just coming on to post something about this as well.
DS is in a center but, he has numerous teachers throughout the day.
I was thinking of getting all of the teachers handsoaps from Bath and Body works (since I'm sure they want to kill winter germs from the kiddies). I was going to buy extra and just keep what I didn't give out.

Ya know, that's not a bad idea! I could make up a basket of lotions, soaps, sprays and let the girls pick what they want.

Re: Holiday gifts for daycare
Last year I gave all the main teachers ( the ones that are most with DS) $50 and one girl who is there often in the afternoon $25. I also brought in a case of coffee and munchkins for anyone who would be there during the day.

Re: Holiday gifts for daycare
DD has two main teachers.
I was debating $50 each.
Maybe a toy gift for the room as well ?
I think I will ask one of the other moms what they are doing to get an idea.

Re: Holiday gifts for daycare
I was going to ask this. I was thinking cash or gift cards but I don't know how much to give since this is our first time. Her main teacher is AMAZING- she is like a 2nd mother to her- she is there with her every day until 2:30 pm- I want to give her more than I do for the afternoon girls who rotate.
$50 seems to be the average based on this thread so far...
