what on earth do you get a man who needs absolutely NOTHING and wants absolutely NOTHING and who has EVERYTHING.
 
* he's a small business owner
* he's married with three kids
* he's very involved in his kids' soccer... he helps coach
* he's 48

I would get something eatiable like a good bottle of wine or whiskey (or what ever he drinks) or chocolates (Lake Champlaine Chocolates or Godiva are my go to brands).

Get him an experience, ie. racing, skydiving, etc.
Or get him something personalized, like a custom rubber address stamp. I got a really nice one from an etsy shopper for my MIL who was also very difficult to shop for. She loved it.
