help! how bad is it to mix a new cereal and new fruit at same time?
DH was watching dd today and did this by mistake? she took it but now im worried about allergic reactions 
barley and pears

She'll be fine. I did it all the time and my kids don't have allergies. LOL

its okay, if your child has a reaction just dont give either again for awhile and then try them again but seperatly that way you know which did give child reaction.
My dd has a reaction to oatmeal and peds said for me to try again a few weeks later and had reaction again. Now i have to wait until 1 to try again.

i would just watch and see if there is a reaction. If there is the only real problem is that you won't know which one caused the reaction until it is tried separately. But you would have eventually tried both and would have seen it so i don't think it is terrible. Just a mistake
