babybugsmum THEIR UNBREAKABLE BOND Member since 8/07 1962 total posts Name: gemma	He has 5 out of the 7 symptoms for MENINGITIS...I AM SO VERY SCARED...PRAYERS NEEDED FOR MY DS////NEW NOT SO GOOD UPDATE UPDATE //UPDATE DS has been running a high fever for 2 days and today it hasnt got lower than 103 and twice today and last night hit 104.9 he is now complaining that his eyes are sensitive to light and his head hurts ...he hasnt gotten off the couch and isnt eating or drinking anything and it is hard to keep him awake ... i am so scared and after i have just given him a tepid bath and motrin i am going to wait 1 hr and then take him to the ER if his fever hasnt got any lower ... please keep us in your prayers tonight ...i know the tests they will have to do to him and that is why i am beside myself right now ..... does anyone have any experience ... UPDATE UPDATE ........... We are home now and unfortunatly now he has tested positive for RSV and another virus that i cant pronounce he is misrable his chest x ray has shown that his chest right now is clear thank god and we are assumming that he got it from his sister as she was in PICU 3 weeks ago with it and pnemonia ......now all i pray is that she dosent get it again which the ped said is definatly a possibilty i just cant catch a break at the moment this has been the worst winter ever ...... Have you called the ped? I would take him to the ER NOW!!!! I know you are worried about the tests but the reality is that if you hestitate, it could be so much worse.
