Having kidney stones SUCKKKKSSS
never felt pain like that in my entire life..... I wanted to die...it felt like I got shot in a drive-by  There was no comfortable position to ease the pain...
BUT thank God for IV pain meds

 I hope you're feeling better and taking narcotics!
DH had one last year - I have never seen him in such pain. I can't even imagine what it must feel like.
but once he got his hands on some Percocet/oxycodone , he was feeling no pain!

I only had a bunch of small ones, and THEY were painful.
My mom recently had a LARGE one and said it was the worst pain of her life.. she would rather push out a baby anyday then go through that again.
Kidney stones suck big time!

omg, I had them a year & a half ago. I have never felt pain like that.. EVER
I hope you are doing better.
Drink TONS of cranberry juice to flush them out of your system.

and BEER! the doctor in the ER told my DH to drink a few beers to flush them out. he also prescribed Flomax. he was in the bathroom every 15 minutes!

OMG this worked for me.
Mine refused to pass for a WEEK. No matter how much water I drank.
My mom recommended the beer- I drank one and the NEXT DAY it PASSED!
And I do feel your pain- it was the most horrible experience of my life. I literally would have chosen to die at some points if given the option.
They gave me morphine at the ER and it barely took the edge off.

I describe it as feeling like someone had a knife in my back/side and kept twisting it in deeper and deeper. 
I came close to losing consciousness at one point from the pain!

Morphine was my BEST friend when I had a kidney stone....they needed to up the dose a few times for it to work, though. I'll never forget the pain. I hope yours pass soon!
