I put other - i had tears welling up in my eyes but they never actually came onto my face. I was really close to crying though and it was very obvious....

Not infront of, I have waited until they left and then cried. I think if you cry you are showing them a weekness. Although its hard not to do. I worked with one woman, in her 60 and everytime I corrected her work or confronted her she would cry, I grew a bit tired of her tears. Its not professional. God Forbid someone died thats a TOTALLY different story.

I work with all women...we have a lot of crying in my office! Don't look at the team the wrong way on any given day and BOOM tears!!
We share a bathroom with another (non-Elvis themed) office and there is ALMOST always someone crying in there!!!

I'm not a crier so no, never. I get mad as hell before i cry.
I have 1 close friend (friends for 25 years) who has seen me cry 1x. When an ex BF and friend died.

Yes. She is also a working mom and asked me how the balance was going 2 months back from maternity leave. That was it, we both started in. Def. wasn't a negative thing though.

Once. It was a hormone thing. He accused me of being forgetful because I was pregnant. I was so furious, I yelled "I did NOT forget it. She told me blah, blah, blah. And FOR THE RECORD, I have NO IDEA why I'm crying but I am 1000% RIGHT!"
He kissed me azz for the rest of the day.
I have gone in the stairwell & kicked the wall numerous times.

that's me too! oh well. I wish I could say it was caused by PMS or stress or something....nope...just straight out, I'm a crier..

Twice - once his sister, whom I work with, drove me over the top - she's impossible. And we did the Breast Cancer 3 Day together and were all crying the last day. I have to add that I am good friends with my boss and his wife.

Same here- I've had tears in my eyes MANY times in front of him.
