Hats Off To All The Toddler Mommies

Let me start by saying that my kids are 5 and 10, and today I watched my 20 month old nephew for the afternoon and did that little boy kick my butt. Seriously, I forgot what a tough age this really is. It was also complicated by the fact that I watched him at my house instead of my sister's babyproofed house. By the time my sister picked him up, lets just say one of us was clearly in need of a nap. My five year old told me that "babies are hard" and she could Never have a baby unless I watch it. All you toddler mommies, when you put them to bed put your feet up and have a glass of wine for me.

Thanks! Before the day even started, I told my DH that I would be drinking copious amounts of alcohol tonight...some ESP I had--boy do I NEED it after today!

Aww how funny. I think this is a really fun age so it's good to know that it's gets even easier. But I'm sure we all thank you for the props anyhow!

Thanks!! It really is exhausting most days.. DH works till 11pm and I try to stay up to hang with him when he gets home, but it is next to impossible.. DS wipes me OUT!!!!! IMO Motherhood at any age is tiring!! We all deserve that wine!!!!!!!!!!
