Has anyone given Pedialyte to DC under 1?
My DH took Tommy to the ped today for diarrhea and he forgot to ask about the Pedialiyte and apparently they didn't say anything about it (they probably did but I bet you it went in one ear and out the other)...
When I spoke to the nurse this AM on the phone she mentioned it but I didn't ask how much to give and now their office is closed...
Anyone know?

DD is 11 months and I've given her pedialyte a few times for diahrea. The first time she had it, I gave her straight pedialyte for 3 days, then I gave her half pedialyte half formula in her bottle for 2 day, then back to regular formula.

We had to give pedialyte to Kaydyn last year while we were away. She was only 7 months old. She didn't really want to drink it, but she was so congested she wasn't drinking anything. We kept trying some. The ped didn't give us a specific amount...they just said to try to get her to drink something.

DD had it when she was about 6.5 months.
she had to be taken off all solids and just have formula and pedialyte.
she didnt drink a ton of it but enough to keep her hydrated.

We had to give DD Pedialyte a few weeks ago from her projectile vomiting.
The doctor said to give her a 4oz bottle of just Pedialyte then for the rest of the day giver her half formula and half pedialyte.

I tried but, he would have none of it. THe only way I got any in was to give him "big boy" sips out of a glass. He will drink anything that way. It's pretty nasty.

We gave Liam pedialite when he was around 4 months because he had a stomach virus. We gave him the non-flavored one. The ped advised us to.

My DD is 12 weeks. I gave her it for diarrea. I gave her a small amount mixed with her formula. 1 oz to every 3 ounces of formula.
