And...did anyone's child ever have a procedure in Mather Hospital with him?

My 9 MOS old Chat Icon has to have her retina looked out more thoroughly (just routine because my DH had an eye problem when he was a child. I am a mess that she needs to be put out to see the full retina. I am petrified of her receiving anesthesia at this young age. We have no choice.

Wondering if anyone used him for anything similar. He seemed real nice but nice and GOOD is a different story!

Thanks:)

I'm a wreck!

My 9 month old has been seeing him since he's 2 weeks old (They called me on my cell when the appt was ready because I did not want to wait in the lobby with all the other kids). We just went back for a follow up last month. I waited a loooonnngggg time(2.5hours) because of dilation and it's a super busy practice. He is very well respected in the field and I trusted his judgement.

My family (immediate and extended) has been going to his practice for almost 25 years. He and Dr. Mladek are both highly respected and acknowledged in their fields. My sister travels from Rochester every year to continue to go to them and my brother had successful surgery by Dr Cossari years ago that otherwise would have left him blind. As someone else mentioned the practice is a very busy one so expect to wait but they have gone above and beyond for our family on many occasions. GL and many hugs!

I saw him as a child. My mom swears he is the best. My children see Dr. Marmour though, because that is who my pediatrician recommends.

My brother had eye problems when he was born (28 years ago!) and my parents took him to Dr. Cossari. He had 2 surgeries with Dr. Cossari and my parents both LOVE LOVE LOVE him! All of us went to him as kids for regular appointments as well. I still go to that office!

p.s. the office wait time tends to be very long, but it is quite worth it!
