hair recs please- need someone who will only trim!
And not cut off too much. My hair is finally getting healthy and the girl who cuts my hair is getting scissor happy...I am done!
Would love somewhere where I can get great color too.
Looking for somewhere great! :) Live south shore Nassau but will travel a bit!

yes. paul does my color. he is amazing! been going to them for like 15 years. they used to work at harvey allen salon in merrick and then left and opened their own place in bellmore. they are great! highly recommend them!

I love Christine at Maximus Hair & Salon in Merrick. She cuts my hair and does an amazing job. Also, a good friend of mine gets the brazilian hair straightening done by her.
Color I LOVE THERE!!!! I have been going to Debbie for the past 6-7 yrs. She is amazing and i now travel in from the city just to use her. She has been there a really long time. She is so good I know one of the largest Hair Dye Manufacturers uses her to help with their training for all salons.
FM with any questions...if needed.

whats really importants imo as a stylist is what your hair needs :) i am so glad its getting healthy and i am sorry you had a scissor happy girl eeks!
best advice i can give over the net is getting a great consultation before letting anyone touch your hair to make sure you are on the same page. a trim to some is 3 inches to someone else kwim? :)

Frasada-Oceanside, I use Josephine or Dana. They are both great and never left there unhappy and usually I hate getting my haircut.
