Guess what I got for Mother's Day.....update
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
Not a card. It is my first Mother's Day being a mom, and I got NOTHING
Just a a Happy Mother's Day hunny.
I know he has been working so late laetly, but a card would be nice.

Aww, I'm sorry. My DH usually gets the card the day of since in his mind he has until midnight to give it to me.

I'm hoping he has something else planned for you as a surprise. I know this is a particularly difficult day for you. I hope he recognizes it & cherishes you as you should be cherished.
If not, try the kick him in the shins option.

thanks ladies...now we are fighting and I canst stop crying.
I told him I felt, and that I had planned for Father's Day to take the boys to get their picstures taken in their fishing shirts, and all I wanted was a measly card.
Now he said thansk for making me feel bad and left the house to go to Home Depot.
Why is my DH such a A $ $!!!!!
The one thing I wanted was for the boys. I wanted to get a Peg Perego side by side stroller

Sorry your DH didn't think of you this mothers day. I know how much it can hurt.
And I know it's not the same, but why don't you go buy the stroller yourself and spend the day with your boys.
Try not to let him ruin your day.

Me too - DH is out playing softball while I am home cleaning and bathing DD before my mom and grandmother come over.
He got me flowers yesterday, because today was going to be "too crazy" - in other words, he wasn't going to have time today because he is playing softball.
I do feel a little bit better knowing that I'm not the only one!

I'm so sorry Diane...Happy 1st Mother's Day to you...you are a terrific mom.
As for your DH, kick him in the shins. He needed a fight to make him go out and buy a card and flowers for you! Yeah definitely kick him in the shins. Then take your boys out and go for a stroll in the park.

I feel for you Diane - men are such idiots.
My DH is out while I am vacumming, doing laundry, cooking and taking care of the kids. I finally just managed to shower and sit for the first time since 7am.
Good to know that I'm having my mom and HIS mom over today and I'm the one doing all the work.
My excuse for no gift was "my customers havent paid me so I didn't have the money to get you anything".
Between this and no birthday gift I'm SUPER po'd today so Diane I am right there with you.
Take the boys out to BRU and buy the stroller yourself - go up to the beach and enjoy YOUR day. After all you've been through YOU absolutely deserve a wonderful day.

Sometimes they are the worst! Sorry that things aren't what they should be, I hope things get better...a bad mother's day can be so devastating.
and something I learned last year...you want that stroller, on days like this you just say f-it and get it yourself and tell them it was a present from him...and thanks
