growth sono... WHEN do you go?
i had my 32 week appointment today and she said okay... see you in 2 weeks....
when the heck am i supposed to go for a growth sono..

I did not (and am 30 weeks now). Some people do tho and not always for complications.
And I think you can pay for a 3D/4D if you want, but I never looked into that.

I think I remember a tech at LIJ saying the growth sonogram - if you have one - usually takes place around the 33rd week - sometime around there.

I just had a doctor's appointment today (30 weeks) and he told me I'll have a growth sono at 35 weeks.

I only had a growth sono with DD at 33 weeks, i was considered high risk since i had preterm contractions that started at 26 weeks. OTherwise i wasn't getting anymore..

exactly, I am 36 weeks and I did not think I was getting one until last week, when I was measuring 3 weeks ahead. I am going for a growth sono next Thursday (I will be 37w, 2d)

I don't think I'm getting on either. I didn't have one with my first. It's my understanding you only have on if they think the baby is too big, too small or possibly breach.

Not everyone gets one. I just had mine at 33 weeks, but I didn't think I was getting one till my last appointment. Honestly, after going, it seems totally worthless, other than seeing him again. I don't believe their estimate will be accurate and if you check parenting, I just recently asked about 3rd tri sonos vs what your baby actually was, and it really seemed like a crap shoot to me.

i had two regular ole routine sonograms. one at 18-20 weeks, and then one at 32 weeks.

I had one with DS at I think 35 weeks. The insurance I had only allowed 3 sono's so that was my last (I had Oxford then). Now I have Aetna and not sure how many I get. I have had 2 so far the last was my level 2
