Grieving taxes question

Can you do this at any time (for the following year)?

Do they have to come to your house and look around?

Re: Grieving taxes question

im using who my SIL is using - I gave them my address, they did the research, asked me a few questions about the house, etc.

They never came by (yet anyway) to see it.

Re: Grieving taxes question

We're using Mark Lewis. I believe the deadline to file is May 15th....well, at least that's when it is for the Town of Brookhaven.

We rec'd a couple of letters in the mail as soon as we took possession of our house. One from Mark Lewis and one from another.

No one has come to our house....not sure if they're planning on it either.

Thanks, we are doing work in the house and I'm not sure if that mattered.

Re: Grieving taxes question

When you call a tax grievance attorney the first thing they will do is see if you even qualify to grieve your taxes. We did not.

ahhhh...updating! Just got ANOTHER one in the mail...needless to say...our taxes are insane. We bought the home from an older woman who had no clue what her taxes were....Chat Icon
The "estimates" we've been given are showing the taxes are $1,500 too high!
