godmother to a twin question..

how do i handle that situation with getting gifts or money..i would like to give a generous gift..but i think i owe my godson something extra ..i think..i dont like to be unequal but what would i do in this situation?..my inlaws have a great godmother for their girl twin..so i wouldnt be worried about her getting "taken care of" thanks for any input!!

if you want to do something extra, then go for it! i always feel bad when the godparents get something for each of them and not just their own godchild.

One child, the sponsor bought his outfit for the day, I paid for my other son.

One of them also got more money from his sponsors then the other child.

If it was me I would get the same amount of money for both but then get my god child a gift, something engraved, or pay for his outfit.

Are you talking about gifts in general or about something for the Christening?

For the Christening I got my godson more then his brother (I bought his outfit and got him a cross.) But now, for birthdays and holidays I get them both the same amount of things.

One set of godparents bought all the outfit and accessories the day and gave a generous gift

the other godmother bought both crosses

the other godfather gave generous gifts and an extra gift, a diamond necklace to his goddaughter.

My boys godparents got the same gift for his twin brother. They each brought their godson a cross to wear the day of his baptism and the onsie to wear afterwards.
