Thanks ladies!! They're doing pretty good but aren't best buddies just yet. Brinkley was always selective on how he took and gave affection and can be standoffish sometimes. Very independent. Ginger is much the opposite, very cuddly and co-dependent. She's next to me right now, and when I leave, she will whine and pace for a while. So I think it will take time to see real affection between the two dogs.
We went to the vet today and besides the parasite test results due tomorrow, she's in perfect health! Dr. Gurtman was surprised, considering she came from a rescue. I told him about Labs4Rescue and that they have them in foster homes so they make sure they're 100% healthy before they even go up for adoption. Hips and muscles look good, no lasting affects of her heartworm that he can detect, she didn't flinch when he gave her the Lepto shot.
And... she got a BATH! She smells so much better. Took that like a champ too. It's amazing how different this experience is from when we got Brinkley.
Now it appears we will get to see how she likes her first exposure to snow tomorrow!

So happy to hear she is in good health and doing so well! They are just too cute together - I am sure with time Brinkley will come around and they'll be inseparable. Ginger is lucky to have a great new family to call her own!

Worth the wait, I'm sure!! Ginger is beautiful and I love her personality; she's just like Kasey with all of that energy!!!
Congratulations to you and Rusty, and Brinkley!!!  The video of them playing is so fun to watch; I'm sure they'll be BFF in no time!!!!
