GHI CBP- rider or no rider?
It's $7 per paycheck to add the rider. Never had it before, but now that I have DD, I'm wondering if I should add the rider on while open enrollment is still going on
Aside from seeing out of network doctors, what is the real benefit to having the rider exactly?

Re: GHI CBP- rider or no rider?
We have jt. Dh always thought it was worth it for the $7 since he didn't pay anything for health insurance so it was kind of a no brainer for us. They did pay my out of network surgeon more than on they would have if we didn't have it....and he wound up taking it as payment in full and I didn't owe anything else. But other than that I have never really used or needed it even with DD. But we generally see only in network doctors

My dad always got the rider because it was so inexpensive.

Do it you never think you'll go out of network but when I delivered my kids it helped and we did end up going out of network for some other things and it was well worth it
