My obsession is on hold pending my shoulder healing. But yea, I'm totally with you. Chat Icon

I don't seed trade but I do plant-trade. I'm actually giving away some things that came with the house that I don't like to my sisters and my mother.

I'm just starting out so I don't really have much to give away. But I do troll Craigslist and Freecycle looking for things that people are digging up/dividing. Chat Icon

First off, you need to figure out how much sun that area gets and which direction it faces. Plants that thrive in southern exposure full sun may be sorely lacking in northern exposure shade.

Re: gardeners? avid ones? anyone obsessed?

I love to garden. This year so far, i created a flower bed that used to be grass.....

I planted Inpatiens and a few plants in there. I put solar lights and I will be putting down black mulch in there also.

I just started weeding out the front beds the day before yesterday and planting inpatiens in all of my flower pots.

I want to have this finished by mothers day because we are having people over.

I also do gardening on the side if anyone needs some done and doesnt have the time or wants to do it themselves.

FM me for details

Scott

oh believe me I know all about the sun and all that---thing is...mydh got me a 6 foot stone fountain-its in a gintcut out circle in the middle of the lawn--I ripped out most---9well he did) with the exception--behindit is a mini weeping cherry tree, a hydrangea and 2 peonies because they hate being transferred.
I am thinking of what to plant there now...
I think i totally need moonflowers, foxgloves and some fushia carpetroses..maybe bellsof ireland.
looking for additional ideas...
and def! pond lilliesto float in my fountain
