Fruit Desserts.. have one??
Please post your favorite fruit desserts. I'm so sick of making the same old, same old... brownies, cookies, cakes, muffins.. and repeat!  DH and I both love fruit, so I think that will be a nice change.

Jo, you could replicate the famous Mom McHugh Trifle!! 
What about a fruit tart? Barefoot Contessa makes some really nice looking ones... I am sure you could find a recipe online. I remember her making a strawberry one and it looked super easy, and fancy!

I actually make a "fruit pizza" 
Take a tube of cookie dough, flatten it out into a large circle - bake it as per the directions - it should look like a VERY large cookie when it's done. I then make a cream cheese frosting, spread it on and top with different berries, kiwi, mango slices, whatever type of fruit you like. Slice it up like a pizza.
It's always a big hit!

I tried to make Moms trifle once and it just wasn't the same  I think I was against it from the beginning. It's funny the things you love in one place, you hate in another. I guess the Mom McHugh Trifle will have to stay as that!  I think I will try the Fruit pizza.. that sounds fun! Thanks!!

Layer diced up pound cake
blueberries
strawberries
vanilla pudding
more berries
