Frogs

Does anyone have a pet frog? My DH had a beta fish for years and it just died. Instead of getting him a new fish I thought I would surprise him with a frog but have no idea what kind or where to go so any suggestions would be helpful! TIA

Sorry for his loss. Two very different creatures :) IMO I would not bring home any pet unless I knew the person wants another and is open to that type of pet. Frogs eat live bugs from what I know diff from a fish. You need a special set up, some reptiles require a lamp for heat. I always found Parrot world in Rockville centre helpful.

Oh noChat Icon im so sorry. Ever consider a turtle. I kid you not my turtle is 33 years old! Hes in a tank a few rocks, and we let him out to walk around. Not high maintenence and hes fun lol

in your will you'll have to leave him to the kids, he prob will live another 50 yrs lol


My neighbor had one, he was well into his 40's until she left him in the hot sun too long :(

This post is a few weeks old, but we have a dwarf African underwater frog and he is 7 years old. The water is changed only twice a year and he is fed twice a week. Easiest pet ever!!
