I think they guarntee delivery for the day of release which is today. I preordered from Overstock and my mailman told me yesterday it's waiting at the post office but he can't deliver it until Saturday.

I saw a ton delivered to our post office yesterday. Fedex delivered them there. If was weird to see.

You only get guaranteed delivery today if you paid for standard shipping. If you got the free shipping, it's their super saver shipping, which means 5-7 business days.

I'm not sure. I ordered, paid the shipping and just tracked the package...it hasn't left the UPS facility yet. If I don't get it today, I'm gonna be annoyed. And a lot of people will be very unhappy with Amazon. Does UPS deliver on Saturdays?

Does UPS deliver on Saturdays?
I don't know- I know my book is being delivered by UPS and Amazon guaranteed delivery for today. I tracked it and as of yesterday morning, it was in tranit to final destination.

Are you sure you paid for shipping? if you got the free shipping you will not get it today. If you paid for the Standard Shipping, it was guaranteed today!

I'm positive I paid for shipping. I'll just have to wait it out I guess. I won't have time to start it today anyway, and I really have to stop checking back to track the package. Has anyone received it from Amazon yet?

I haven't gotten mine from Amazon yet, and I paid for the standard shipping!! Grrrrr. I should have just run out and bought the darn thing myself, because I have a wedding to go to today, and I don't want anyone ruining it for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered it directly from B&N and paid shipping. I know it's at the UPS facility in Farmingdale, but it says that it's on hold to deliver. I hope it comes today!

I finally got it!! It was in my USPS mailbox, even though UPS delievered it?!?!? Oh well, at least it's here. Unfortunately i have to go to a wedding so i cant' finish it!!
